pop montreal is four days of music, parties and “hey dude, I didn’t know you were gonna be here!” “yeah I live in montreal now!”. I’ve lucked out and found an empty apartment to stay in for the week thanks to my friend Seb from Arbutus Records (who is currently sitting beside me, also typing frantically). been in mtl for a few days already, and adjusting wildly.

all the shows are probably either free or cost money. but we really don’t know.
big ups to my man Seb, thanks for hooking us up – check out the Arbutus Records Showcase on thursday at the Rialto Theatre (5723 Parc), sweet bands like Silly Kissers, Grimes, Pop Winds and Blue Hawaii.
casa + hellaluya also played an amazing kickoff show in Sarnia last weekend – thanks to all who came out!! and that kid working at the road stop on the way back who abandoned his job to chill with us – you rule.
